My name is Samantha Thorne. Most know me as Sam.
Something about me is that I’ve never felt the drive for the normal 9-5 scene. I’ve spent many years working as a waitress. I’ve tried school, I’ve tried more structured jobs. Now I’m a full time mom with a part time serving job, chasing a dream I didn’t realize was in me.

In high school, I asked my family for a group Christmas gift of a nice camera. I’ve had my Canon T6 for pretty close to 10 years. It’s sat for many of those years. A friend in college taught me there was a way to shoot outside of auto. My camera sat many years after that until we had our sweet Jo. I dusted my camera off to take Joleigh’s newborn photos.
Freshly married, recovering from a wedding and remodeling our home, we didn’t have a whole lot for newborn photos. I took pictures of her milestones to have for myself but it really changed when I took my brother in laws senior photos. I found a passion in me bubbling up that I could no longer deny. I decided to try this thing and I’ve seen God’s hand in it every step of the way.
